Dental Assistant

Rachel joined our practice in May of 2013 with a background in endodontics, oral surgery, as well as general and cosmetic dentistry.  She is a 2012 graduate of Fortis Institute, and is a Certified Dental Assistant. Rachel works closely with Dr. Patel to ensure your dental experience is as comfortable as possible. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, and taking walks in the park with her two dogs Murphy and Molly.  Rachel is also an avid Disney fan with a love for all things Little Mermaid.


Patient Services Representative

Lia joined the Plainsboro Family Dentistry team in July of 2014. Before joining our practice, Lia was already an experienced medical assistant.  She decided to expand her knowledge other areas of the medical field and quickly found a home with us. Lia can be found running our front desk as our Patient Services Representative. She can handle all of your insurance and billing questions quickly, efficiently, and is ever ready with a smile on her face. In her free time Lia can be found cheering on the Baltimore Ravens during football season, and playing with her two favorite pups, Mugen and Sadie.



Andreia is a registered Dental Hygienist.  She received her degree from Middlesex County College. Andreia joined our Plainsboro Family Dentistry family in October 2014. She is certified in CPR and local anesthesia administration. Andreia is trilingual and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. In her free time she is an avid reader, and is an artist who enjoys expressing herself through her drawings and paintings


Dental Assistant

Nicole joined the Plainsboro Family Dentistry in 2013. She received her certification in Dental Assisting at OCVTS in 98’ and returned in 00’ for her Dental Radiology certification. After working in the dentistry field for over 17 years, she decided to pursue her education further and graduated in 2014 with an Associates in Science concentration radiology from MCCC. She also received an award in 2014 for her outstanding patient care. In addition Nicole holds certifications in both CPR and Basic EMT. She understands that coming to the dentist can be fearful for some so she strives for patient education and comfort. She is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish. In her free time, Nicole enjoys baking marvelous cake creations, and taking on various other craft and DIY projects.
